Dr. Ed Coleridge and Mary Ryan, Frank's sister, discuss Frank Ryan's improving physical condition on ABC's continuing drama, RYAN'S HOPE.  The role of Dr. Ed Coleridge is played by Frank Latimore and the role of Mary Ryan is played by Kate Mulgrew.

ABC's Ryan's Hope, about an Irish family who ran a bar in New York City, became the most critically acclaimed serial on the air after its premiere in 1975. From left to right: Kate Mulgrew as the spirited Mary Ryan, Helen Gallagher as the understanding Maeve Ryan, and Bernard Barrow as the  lovably temperamental Johnny Ryan.

Sylvia Sidney (center) one of the first ladies of the American stage and screen, will make a return appearance on the ABC Television Network's daytime dramatic series, "Ryan's Hope," in an episode airing Friday, Jan. 2. Miss Sidney, shown in her appearance last September with Kate Mulgrew (left) and Michael Levin (right), will again play the role of Sister Mary Joel, a retired nun. 12/16/75
