Kate read the lead role of Kate Hammond,
a beloved fashion magazine editor facing various upheavals in her picture
perfect world, in a reading of Nick Steele's new play STAY at the
Zipper Theater on Monday, June 16th, 2003. Joining Kate were
Lois Smith (Minority Report, Dead Man Walking, How to Make an American
Quilt), Jane Petrov (Uncle Nick, Love Turns on a Dime) and Robert Gant
(Queer as Folk, Popular, Caroline In The City).
The reading was attended by theater producers
and industry members who might be interested in funding the play
when it comes to the stage. Other notables who attended were
