Totally Kate! The Official Website of Kate Mulgrew

07/02/08

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Thank you so much for your continued interest in my wacky life.  I just finished a wonderful workshop at the New York Stage and Film Festival, reading Eve Ensler’s play O.P.C. with a fantastic group of actors.  I can’t wait to have my holiday, which is upcoming and very brief, before I begin rehearsals for EQUUS, which opens on Broadway in September.

Everything in my life is particularly happy at this time and I am wishing the same for all of you.  Thank you to everyone who attended IPHIGENIA 2.0 at the Signature Theatre last fall.  I received an OBIE award a few weeks ago for my portrayal of Clytemnestra and share that success with those who supported me.  I think some of you saw it more than once and that gives me great satisfaction.  I also want to thank those of you who attended my son Alec’s first art show in Portland.  It was an enormous success in large part due to a few lovely ladies who were once Star Trek fans and are now Alec Egan fans.  He will continue to show through the country and is developing a website of his works at the moment.

I am so looking forward to seeing many of you in Las Vegas in August and I hope that I will continue to see your shining faces in the audience at the Broadhurst Theatre.

Warmest regards and many thanks,

Kate
